Hi (I'm new here),

If there is enough interest, I can probably make an Envy24HT driver that works for a couple of M-Audio, ESI and Terratec cards. I have written this driver for another operating system, so it should be doable. Any donation (after it's working of course!) is welcome!

Well, i have a juli@ and i guess i'm not the only one that would want to get the juli@ to work with osx x86...
So, audiodriverwriter, if you could do something for us i think it would be really appreciated !

I would be interested in the driver as well. I have a dead SN25P which has the Envy 24 audio chipset.

(On the other hand, a new power supply for the SN25P will cost about US$100, so maybe I am better off doing a "budget" build)

Could you please take a look at the Envy24PT chipset as well. i've been looking for a sollution for over a year now without any results. what i've got is : VIA Envy24PT w/ VIA VT1617A Codec, Wolfson WM8728 DAC - 8 Channel. This is an onboard sound chipset in a Shuttle SN25P XPC. there is a wiki on this chipset, maybe it will help : http://gentoo-wiki.c..._Vinyl_Envy24PT

Wow, just back from holiday and lots of replies!
I can't promise when it will be finished, but I need it since I'm writing a 'DAW' / audio sequencer for OSX, Windows and Linux. It already runs on PPC Mac's, but I can't afford an (official) Intel Mac right now. Unfortunately (for you guys), the Windows version has a bit higher priority, but after adding some features and fixing some bugs, I will have time to start the OSX Envy24HT driver. I can also make an Envy24 (non HT) driver after that (actually required for my Delta 44).

Woow, good news! I wait so much the envy24ht driver, this chip is the best for low price, so many people have this in m-audio, esi, blabla. Help us man!

Yes, the Envy24HT driver will work for Terratec Aureon Sky and Space, Phase22 and 28,
M-Audio Revolution 5.1/7.1 and ESI Juli.
The Envy24 driver will work for M-Audio Delta 44, 66 and 1010 LT and Terratec Phase 88 cards. Delta 66 support may perhaps only be analogue.

At least, these are the cards that work with my drivers on AmigaOS4.

Oops, forgot the 2496. Yes, that will work too. Not the audiophile 192 though.

I have an Audiotrak Prodigy 7.1 XT card, which is also an VIA ICE1724（ENVY24HT）card.

I hope this card also will be supported in your driver.

I will send you the required materials if you need any and test it for you.
