I copied all leopard ATI kexts (the 25 starting with ATI) to my Extensions folder, repaired permissions, and booted with the '-f' flag. They don't seem to load properly on Tiger.

Which is your card?
Have you applied any of known patches (koverg, boris, omni)?

I was about to say. I've been tinkering with the ATI* Leopard kexts and they appear to work... they don't do much then what the Tiger versions did, but they do load and work.

hum nice, but u also need the OPENGL.FK to have the ATI driver fully working!
it would be nice if there is a newATINDRV that finally works with X1600PRO, 1800 and 1900

I don't know if it is possible to put links to 10.5 extensions, but I have ulploaded them to filefront (also the frameworks folder).

I would like to try these Ati kexts from Leopard. Can you post the Filefront link or send me a message? Thanx in advance
