and open terminal and enlarge it
and type
lspci -nn
and capture this

I'm getting this Kernel Panic

Hey there, friend, Mohamed!

Your guide is great! Everything worked just fine, until the last step.

On reset i got kernel panic which was something about fakesmc.

Also said something about processor was not Intel so kext for temperature was not loaded (but my guess is that is not problem)...

My hardware is:

Asus M3A (chipset AMD 770)

with onboard audio Realtek ALC883 and Atheros® PCIe Gigabit LAN controller featuring AI NET 2.

AMD Athlon X2 5000+ processor and

Palit Nvidia GF 8600 GT Sonic+

After first time boot in Snow Leo i installed kext for LAN to download 10.6.4 update. Could have that caused the panic?

Anyway, hope that you have some suggestion  for me...

fakesmc contain thermal sensor for intel
so it cause panic
it is so normal not effect on mac osx
just restart
and will not apper again

Nah, repeated entire process again, this time did not installed anything before...

Kernel panic fired up right when i click restart after installing update, chameleon and fakesmc!

In first panic says that he refuses 10.6.4 and uses 10.6.3, something like that. After restart i also get panic, but this time it says something about fakesmc... And repeats that every time i restart...

Is there some other version of fakesmc that i can try?

Or can i just use Snow Leo 10.6.3 without update?

I follow your guide step by step and i can install MacOS 10.6 perfectly

I configured my SATA whit ACHI
I follow this steps:

First Way

*It is easy way
*You will need 1-BOOTCD
2-RETIAL DVD
*I made boot cd contain { legacy-kernel 10.4 , Fakesmc 319 , AtiATA , Chameleon rc5 rev 300 , flag busratio=16 }
*Download it from here
*Retial snow Leopard 10.6.3 DVD from any source  
I have got Retail 10.6.0
*Burn them under windows by poweriso[/b]
I made a USB FLASH image, in my macbook install perfectly with this


Setup
For First Way

*First boot from Boot cd
*When chameleon boot screen pop up ask for Retail DVD
*eject Boot cd and put retail DVD
*Press F5
*The name of DVD will apper stand on it
* if you want to use any flag write it ( i already added busratio=16 ) you dont want to write it
*Now Press ENTER and wait till set up screen apper  
*This Way is easy but slow some thing than flash and you cant set up snow on MBR HDD
Nine minutes to complet install, i have an error, but reboot correctly


Boot After Setup

For First Way

*After set up you will use boot CD to boot your partion contian setup of Snow Leopard
*Stand on Partion and press flag you want ( i already added busratio=16 to boot.plist ) you dont want to write it
*complete set up to become on desktop  
Here all perfect


After Setup

* Now we finish our work
*First download 10.6.4 update from apple
I downloaded 10.6.4 combo update from apple, because i install 10.6 and this combo can install directly from 10.6
*After Setup Dont restart
*Setup Chamelon RC4
And here is when i have problem, because Chamelon RC4 don´t install correctly, here i have error of installation
*after Setup boot loader put your boot.plist that contian flag busratio=16 on extra it is very important to next step  
*After thus setup legacy kernel it will add kernel name to boot.plist we added before and patch CPUID  
*before you reboot you must install FakeSMC.kext use Kext helper from here with latest Fakesmc 397
*Now you can Restart
*After restart you can now install your kexts you need eth , Audio , GFX
*There A good library for kexts  from NAWCOM thanks to him you can download what you want from here

* For sleep  use this but your usb may not work after sleep  


I can have the error when I am installing 10.6 and 10.6.3 not directly?
I can have the 10.6.4 combo install error?
I can go to the next step if not installed Chamelon?
If not installed, I can always reboot from BootCD?, I have no problem with this

if retail setup stoped in half it is error  
nearly you restored dmg wrong to flash memory
and cuztomze setup and unselect printer and lang
and select others

Ok, thanks for your fast response

I deselect all custom setup, x11, rosetta, printers, fonts, lang, etc ...

but the installation have an error 4 minutes to complet install, the error say aprox:
mac don´t start the computer from disk of your installation, can try to select the disk on start disk utility

but the system reboot correctly with the bootcd

i try to download now Retail 10.6.3

if install say failed before it finish by nearly .5 cm
it is normal
