Post the apps you've found with SL compatability issues here!

Apps i've found not to work on SL

iStat Menus - can't insert menu items - 10.6 compatible version coming in a month or so

Windows Live Sync - unable to sign in

Palringo - crashes on startup - quicklook problem, fix in progress

Stoplight - just doesn't do anything

Apps that didn't work after upgrade but now do

Crashplan - had to reinstall after update

Sadly, some of the broken apps are real killers for me...

QuickSilver does not seem to be working for me.

Transmission does execute, but does not connect to any sources.

Little Snitch doesn't work.

CheetahWatch doesn't work.

Minor annoyances:

iTerm window disappears in Spaces view, but you can see the shadow outline.

Transmission works fine for me on a late 2007 Macbook with 10A380.

I can't get the Wacom Tablet drivers to work properly. The preference pane doesn't show up in the System preferences, and when you double click a copy of the pane file (to install it by itself) it claims that it is already installed. Not such a big deal on a single monitor, but using dual monitors is sort of a pain.

edit: Interesting. Somewhat of a fix (in case anyone else runs in to it):

Go to /Library/PreferencePanes and make a copy of the Pen Tablet's preference pane on the desktop.

Double click the pane that is still in the PreferencePanes folder. It will install, but likely won't show up.

Next, drag your copy back into that folder (as the other one would have disappeared).

Double click that one, and it should say that System Prefs needs to restart.

Voila.

System Prefs will restart every time you need to run this or any other older pane. The new System Prefs is 64bit, and will not run 32bit panes. It restarts into 32bit mode.

Flip 4 Mac plugin doesn't work in Firefox or Safari. Firefox just goes into a crazy refresh loop and attempts to open the divx converter which I have to force quit, Safari just doesn't play an embedded wmv files, right clicking and choosing open in new window results in just sound with no video. It's not that bad with Firefox since you can just have VLC open wmv files but I haven't found a way to get around the issue with Safari. Hopefully this gets addressed before the RTM release other then that I've upgraded my MPB 2.4ghz and now use it as my main OS. The new finder is awesome so much more responsive and opening mail no longer results in the beachball, it pops right up.

No Menucrackers (iStat included) or Safari plugins will load, since both need to be 64bit. I actually recompiled Clicktoflash, so now we don't have to load safari in 32bit mode :) I bet loading safari in 32bit mode (RightClick -> Get Info on Safari.app) will cause the web plugin of flip4mac to load, but i haven't tried.

I also tried compiling Growl in 64bit. Almost got it, but some plugins don't work as expected :/

If anyone has the time/skill please recompile Scrobblepod - i can't get it to work at all :/

As far as I can tell, no application that adds plugins to iSync will work, however I found a workaround. I'm not sure if it'll work for any application, as I've only tested it with the Sony Ericsson plugin application.

What you have to do is open the application package (option click and show contents), and locate the physical plugins. They will typically be archived. In the Sony Ericsson application it was right inside the Application, in an archive called Archive.pax.gz (this might be a standard, what do I know?). Anyways, double click the archive, and it'll extract itself outside the application to a directory called "Archive." There will be a bunch of files (or only one) with extensions like .[something]plugin inside that directory. These are the pluginfiles/directories that you will need to use.

Next step is to open the iSync application package (same procedure as with before, option click and show contents), and copy the pluginfiles to "[App]/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePhoneConduit.syncdevice/Contents/PlugIns".

Voila, your device is now supported by iSync, both 32bit and 64bit.

Cyberduck 3.2 won't launch.

Hi,

Cyberduck is available as an Alpha (Version 3.3a1 (4834)), so it`s starts again in 10A380

In my case, Teamviewer didn't start anymore in Snow leopard :(

Glims and Stand work fine in 32-bit Safari (except Glims doesn't display its preferences page).

Transmission seems to work.

Perian works too and that's great because : VLC,Movist in ffmpeg mode and mplayer all have a purple and green video output so the only way for me to watch movies is by using Quicktime+Perian or Movist in quicktime mode.

I should add that all the above was tested on a hackintosh (q6600/msi 965mb/geforce 7600).

I also tried VLC on a imac with an amd 2600 and there it works fine.
