I've tried. I even have the CDs iLife '11 came on. I had no issues with any of the supplemental updates on 10.8. I can call apple support and see what they recommend, but my concern is that they'll dig deep enough to discover that I'm using a hackintosh. I even did a fresh maverick install and iLife install with no luck.

So, I am still getting the error when trying to update iPhoto and iMovie: This update is for an app downloaded with a different Apple ID. Sign in with that Apple ID and try again. Then I get the app store (null error). Everything in bdmesg populates properly with the 2267-test 3 chameleon. The only thing I don't show in system profile is Serial Number (processor tray) although I do have that key in SMBios (same 17 digit serial number is the system). Does this have anything to do with why I cannot update the two apps?

Delete the networkinterfaces.plist (don't worry, it auto replaces itself when you reboot). Add this line to your boot.plist: <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> REBOOT See what happens then. Check and see if it switched to <true/> in your network interfaces.plist Also, make sure there is no boot.plist listed in your /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration Your using org.chameleon.boot.plist in your /Extra folder, right?

If you open up /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist, do you see the following? <key>IOBuiltin</key> <true/> If you see <false/> then it is not being recognized as built-in, which is why you cannot access app store. Are you using chameleon? Can you post your com.apple.boot.plist or your org.chameleon.boot.plist? This way I can see if your using the appropriate ethernet command. We'll figure this out.

What MoBo/Sound chip/card are you using?

Shouldnt be a problem. I went from 10.6.8 > 10.7 via chameleon and USB Lion install, then went to 10.7.1 via system update with no issues. I don't think Kakewalk method should effect update (but I cannot guarantee it either)

I'm trying to remember which one is the green (not near my PC at the moment). I did post the audio kext which should get all your audio working (my digital outputs work great, never checked the analog)in another thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...c=268536&hl). I had to use openhaltrestart.kext to get my sleep and complete shutdown working. I also had to delete nullcpupowermanagement.kext. Let me know if you need any additional help and I'll be glad to send over any kexts I have on hand.

Place this kext in s/l/e and you should be good to go. This will allow the bottom ethernet port to function perfectly (the one closest to the PCI slots). IONetworkingFamily.kext.rar

You want to remove nullcpupowermanagement for your setup. I needed to remvoe this from my p5q deluxe and everything works perfectly.

Try openhaltrestart instead. Put it in Extra/Extentions. Worked for my p5Q Deluxe (but, I can't gurantee it will work for the P5e3). OpenHaltRestart.kext.zip
