Pwnage Tool 2.1 Released

The wait is over for Pwnage Tool. The Dev Team just released it today, Saturday, July 19th. The download link is at the bottom of the page. The 2.0 version of pwnage tool features a new interface, support for jailbreaking and unlocking Software 2.0 on 1st Generation iPhones, and jailbreaking the iPhone 3G on 2.0. I am currently backing up my phone, so I will post results when done. :)

Is this the right place to request support with the new quickpwn?

 

I was trying to pwn my iphone 3G which was using the new 2.1 firmware. It seemed to be working fine but in the end when it was supposed to be reboot, I was stuck at the apple logo screen forever. After about 10 minutes, I started clicking on the home button and sleep/wake button to see if that would get her going. I then unplugged it from my computer. I tried turning it off. Rebooting again. And it still takes forever.

 

So I finally decided to just restore my iPhone from a backup using iTunes. But iTunes tells me that there is a pw code on my phone and I have to enter this code before continuing. I do use a code on my phone but obviously, I can't enter this code unless I can boot the OS. So .... How do I unbrick my phone?

 

Btw, I'm using WinXP.
