Just looking for a small little project I can do so that I can further my knowledge of buildling/repairing laptops and computers! So if anyone has a damaged one lying around waiting to be repaired I'd be willing to buy it from you for a decent price. Please post a reply here with a specification of the system, the damage, pictures also if possible, and the price you'd want for it! Thanks! dopeyo Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 two pieces of free advice. go to ebay and search for mac g4 17" (parts, repair) ....yes, type it in just like that go to www.ifixit.com. I pulled a 12" aluminum g4 out of a dumpster and followed their free tutorials. and it worked. they also sell parts at a reasonable price, with a warranty. third free advice. practice on a windoze laptop. that way, if you ruin it, there's no harm done. (Kimosabe, is that a french mac smoking in bed in your .sig?
