I have installed Zephyroth Leopard 10.5.2 Rev.2 everything is fine and working, but I have installed the latest version of Toast and is not working.

When I try to open the main application it bounches in the menu bar for a while and then it stops responding and I have to force quit the app. From the system info menu I can see my DVD-RW and it is fully supported.

Is there any know incompatibility with Toast, or is there any other DVD + CD copy application that I can use.

Yes I have both enabled and I use my correct kexts for my card (Saphirre x1650pro 256Mb AGP).

Also I have tried to burn a cd from Leopard and it perfect wihtout any error and the cd works. But still I can't use Toast, I have even downloaded the latest 9.0.2 version and still nothing.

Should I try an older one as version 7?

Toast 9 is such a buggy mess it barely runs on real Macs, 8 isn't much better. I suggest you find a copy of Toast 7.1.3 (has leopard support). Somehow Roxio managed to make that .3 patch pretty decent... was probably a mistake since they make such garbage these days.

I will try the 7.1.3 to see if this works. But first I have to install from the beginning Leopard since from an unexpected crush last night I can't login....

I think that at the end I will go and buy a new mac to finish with all the compatibility issues.

mine freezes every time i start to burn. it just stops responding. i guess i'll try the 7.1.3 if i can find it.

funny part is it was burning just fine the other day and all of a sudden it just stops in the middle of a burn and hasn't worked since. i've uninstalled and reinstalled. tried just about everything i can think of next to installing a new kernel. the only think i did different was install fusion and a virtual machine.

and ci and qe are both supported on my video card.

A simple google search turned up two trackers referenced on seven different torrent sites. Sorry, you can't post links to pirate software here, but it not like it's hard to find.

It amazes me the number of people who post in these forums who don't know how to do a simple search. :P

Christ. Google "toast 7.1.3" Now choose the fifth link down "Roxio Toast Titanium 7.1.4 torrent download" Now choose the mininova link. Now wait like five minutes for your client to find all the seeds. I downloaded it in 44 mins between 5-35KB/s.

Very easy, man.

my problem wasn't toast. i went to roxio's website and downloaded 7.1.3 straight from them. then used the same exact torrent someone listed above to download just the serial....and still the same problem.

i ended up changing SATA ports on the motherboard and it fixed it. i swapped it with the main hard drive and it worked. hard drive still works too so i don't know if something was wrong with the port or not. weird though.
