what did you use to install?

kernel version?

netkas modified ToH kernel works for me.

if you have the same kernel, try reinstall it.

If you don't know how go here:

johnniecarcinogen guide

download it, just install the shutdown reboot fix kernel from the install option.

reboot and it should work.

used kalyway 10.5.1

comboupdate 10.5.2

efi 9.2 kernel_vanilla (the original from apple)

i have tried many different kernels but dont think ive tried that one yet..

sounds good. ill give it a try.. is the boot time slower with this?

have had problems stalling on airport:link on e0 with different kernels..

the one i have now is the only one i have had success boting up in 15seconds with..

and how do u get your rig on your posts?

And no i didnt use that patch for sound.. i think.. ive tried several..might have screwed something up?

Then you should have no problem using the one in link above.

Kernel is kind of a karma for me,

I am not expert on it too, i have been reading, playing around with it but sometimes even if you know it'll 100% works but after

clearing cache, repairing permission, and such just won't do it... strange...

When i first update to 9.2.2 my shutdown works too but i found after installing some apps with .com files, it stop shutting down.

so i re downgrade my kernel and it works great, haven't had any problem.

To get your rig in your message, click on the my control and use the Edit Signature. Hope that will solve your prob. -_-
