westwaerts
yep, bootcamp assistent is in utilities but cant tell you, if it makes sense, to run osx on pc, then run win on osx on pc. two partitions or better hd, two OS, no interference, no dependency, i like it that way. Then you believe is a better OS for HDD instead of partition? But so doesnot have the same problems with the boot? Please explain better because I can install OS-X in another HDD

Whiternoise
You want to download the LiveCD, either via the torrent (http://www.tuxdistro.com/browse.php?cat=148) or via the sourceforge page (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=115843&package_id=271779). You should end up with an .iso file that you can burn to a normal CD-R (seems pointless wasting 4.35gb of DVD). At least this is how it went for me on Windows. All you have to do then is pop it in your disc drive and boot from it @mods, feel free to remove the torrent link, but it's linux so it should be fine?
