As many of you may be aware, the HP/Compaq notebooks have pretty f'd up mini pci e buses in OS X. The is primarily used for Wireless cards. Your Task- Write a kext or script that corrects this problem and allows the bus to be read in system profiler. Post ANYTHING RELAVENT here. Slice Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 In past Chun-Nan rewrite IOPCIFamily to correct bus numbering. I did the same procedure with other algorithm. I also support development for other bus namely AGP. My efforts with sources here. Your probably needs to go the same way but with hardware documentations about your bus. Google!
