Ho fatto tutto ok ti posto il file ;)ALLORA.... FACENDO LA PROCEDURA MI RICONOSCE LA SCHEDA MA VA IN ERRORE DANDO TUTTI I VALORI SU ZERO IL FILE LO SALVA MA E VUOTO CHE FACCIO??? daniele9821 Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 Scusate l'O.T., innanzitutto ringrazio marti e midral per lo sforzo....però volevo annunciare l'uscita dei nostri driver per la scheda wireless: http://code.google.com/p/iwidarwin/ La domanda è: " Nel caso l'installazione dei suddetti driver non andasse a buon fine, dove vanno ad installarsi??, cioè con i driver video so che quando falliscono basta eliminare la cartella NVinject locata in /System/Library/Extension/, ma nel caso dei suddetti driver?? in caso di fallimento dove vanno a sistemarsi e come bisogna comportarsi per disabilitarli???? Mistico86™ Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 mi anche io ho un sony con la 8400m gt....stesso problema...e da quello che vedo quasi uti i sony, se ti serve test o da fare altre prove sono a completa disposizione, sappi che ho già provato a moddare il bios ma è bloccato non si legge ne è possibile flashare la scheda quindi o si riesce con gli nvcap o bisogna trovare un altra via. grazie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Most of the laptop displays and desktop displays use standards like EDID which makes them easy to detect and helps the OS determine correct settings (like native resolution and supported refresh rates)Some PC laptops use soft EDID. In this case, EDID is not provided by display itself but by BIOS itself (value is written in ROM) but then Mac OS X is not using this kind of method and don't have any driver to deal with this. So OS X simply thinks there's no display connected and even forcing the EDID setting won't work as OS X is waiting for the graphics adapter to receive a signal from te display, which is never received. Th'at's why a specific driver would be required.
