My iPhoto seems to run fine but crashes and shuts down when I try to view a photo (double clicking) or when I try to edit an photo. Also I just tried to run a slide show and it crashed my system (cmd+alt+esc didn't work).

I never had any of these problems with iPhoto 06 in Tiger. Haven't tried iPhoto 06 in Leopard.

Does anyone know if there's anything I can do and what the cause is?

I've got a Intel 945G Express with a GMA950 graphics card.

I had problems with certain apps crashing until I updated them, and made sure my video card was running right. So make sure you have the most recent updates because even if your vcard is right, it will still crash on hackintosh for some reason.

when i play slideshow i get kernel panic. it was ok prior the iphoto update (support for some cameras and raw format). i've tried to remove and reinstall iphoto from kaly dvd but it's still update! (sw upd don't list it..) and i don't know why.. where the updates are going to?

Whoops, I forgot I hadn't updated yet. There were actually three updates in a row for iPhoto, but it still doesn't work. I saw Comb said his worked until he did the "digital cameras and raw format" update, so I maybe I should have done all but that one. Anyway, with full updates and fully supported videocard (same as in my regular Macbook), it's still not working. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

When importing photos into iPhoto it gets halfway and then gives me a nice error message greying the whole screen out forcing me to reset :-( Anyone else with the same issues?

I have managed to get it working. Not with 1, nor 2 but 3 updates from Apple. Now it works a treat :)

I have the same problem during a large import. It works fine during smaller imports...but if I try to import a whole folder full of pics, or a whole card full, it will go a ways and then give me the Kernel Panic screen.

My iPhoto is updated (7.1.3, I believe) and I'm using OS X 10.5.3. Will 10.5.4 fix this issue, or do I need to wait for another iPhoto udpate? It didn't do this on previous versions of iPhoto, but I can't seem to "un-update" it.

OS X 10.5.3 finally seems stable, but now iPhoto won't work.

;)
