Severnya
Hi, Given the way linux uses its GUI (X11 ontop on the kernel) - and the way Darwin can use this same structure. Can we take OS X (Intel) binaries for Aqua and install them ontop of Darwin?? Just a though, for any know-it-all's out there. Ouch
You would need to install a whole load of stuff such as the carbon/cocoa frameworks, quartz stuff etc. Even if you could do it - you'd just end up with a copy of Mac OS anyway!! Riffer
Actucally you would need to build the kernel from scratch using a mac os build switch insted of a darwin one Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9328-osx-gui-on-darwin-possible/#findComment-61789 Share on other sites
