bulkshop Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 I have Iatkos leopard installed updated to 10.5.2 thanks to kalyways fixed update and there are a few things that i still see not working properly. One is the problem with the mouse tear and artifacts, my vga card is intel 945 gma express and the second thing is that upon battery power if i try to shutdown the system it brings up a sign telling me to hold the power button for a few seconds to shutdown the computer, and this is every time except whenever i connect the power adaptor then it shuts down ok. I try to fix it by copying the file named powermanagement.bundle and batteryupdater.bundle then restarting but it was no good. As for the gma 945 video driver i installed the update directly from apple (graphics update) and it ended up in blue screen. Also tried to replace the 950 intel driver files in extensions but ended up with errors. So, is there any driver or fixed installer (maybe kalyways) for intel graphics or graphics update? and what about the shutdown on battery power problem, is there a solution for it?. Thanks for the quick response, there is a file or patch in the iatkos installation cd but i remember the last time i installed it the fsb speed went down from 200 to 100mhz so it was a slower system as a consequence of it, seeing this i took it off. If the netkas patch has the same file or the same effect i will wait until a better fix comes.
