Thanks for taking time reading this.

I have installed netkas kernel 9.2 with speedstep and fixed shutdown. Also iGurus AppleSMBios.

The computer boot fine but the shutdown do not work. Hangs on black screen.

Speedstep is not working, sysctl -a | grep freq give me the same values if the power is plugged in or not. I have read I may need some application, where can I find one compatible with 10.5.2?

According to uname I am running netkas kernel so I should be sorted... or?

Thanks heaps for any help.

Yea, I'm using NVInject.

I'm still very new to all this so I haven't researched EFI Gfx strings enough to give it a go. Quite pleased with myself so far though :)

You recon I would get shutdown going using a gfx string instead of NVInject?

Last hurdle to get over, sleep and shutdown. I've everything else working. yay.

iwantsound44 >> head over to netkas.org and to the forums there. They are discussing gfx strings and you have quite few samples with different hardware and such.
