Everything worked fien here until i diceded to extend the graphics mode parameter form 1280x1024x32 to 1280x1024x32@60 (for my 60hz lcd screen). After that the computer keeps on rebooting and rebooting. Asks for a -v, etc, parameter in between, but reset 2 seconds later and keeps looping. There is no escape possible -X, -F nothing helps anymore.

To be sure i did a clean install and tried it again, it started to reboot after the 60hz parameter incom.apple.boot.plist <_<

Im going to bed tommorrow i try again.

The exact same thing happened for me. After putting the refresh rate in the Boot.plist file the system just booted repeatedly. No options helped (-F, -w etc.).

I also did a clean install. And now I've only specified the resolution in the Boot.plist file.

Funny thing is though, it's no problem specifying the refresh rate manually at boot time (e.g. "1280x1024x32@75"). Oh well...
