Leopard Server in Parallels

I am trying to get Leopard server to run in a VM on Leopard Client, Genuine mac. It doesn't matter what software I have to use, just if I can do it. I tried it in Parallels Desktop and it refused to boot from my install DVD. I would prefer to have the same functionality as VMware Server for windows does, not have to have the window open, but it is still running. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ohhhhh. Last time I checked on that it was a closed beta. So I downloaded it, and guess what? They say that the OS X Server feature is not yet ready for public beta. WTF?!?! They were touting that feature! Oh well, wait for a later build.
