rob356
I am trying to get Leopard server to run in a VM on Leopard Client, Genuine mac. It doesn't matter what software I have to use, just if I can do it. I tried it in Parallels Desktop and it refused to boot from my install DVD. I would prefer to have the same functionality as VMware Server for windows does, not have to have the window open, but it is still running. Any help would be greatly appreciated! macgirl
Did you try on Parallels Server, instead of Parallels Desktop? http://www.parallels.com/en/download/server/beta/
rob356
ohhhhh. Last time I checked on that it was a closed beta. So I downloaded it, and guess what? They say that the OS X Server feature is not yet ready for public beta. WTF?!?! They were touting that feature! Oh well, wait for a later build. rob356
I have a Leopard Server install disk. How would I go about patching this? I have Parallels Server, on an alu. iMac.
f41qu3
If you have a intel core processor and intel chipset can tun it without patching. only, choose a free-bsd machine on parallels server. Goodluck,

Embio
am I right in thinking that parallels server requires the host OS to be Leopard server as well as the client?
