so i need a way that i could install windows XP for occasional use... i need something that will work like boot camp.... is it possible? I'm currently using iAtkos darwin kernel without efi... i have one partition on my disk so maybe i could get another hard disk for it...

if thats something that has been explained somewhere on the forum please give me a link because i couldn't find it.

thanks ahead to all helpers!!

if you create 1 more partition with disk utility but not hfs ,for example create it dos

and you boot with a XP disk ,the installer won;t see this partition?

there you can install the XP

and then with chain0 method or darwin loader you could have dual boot

you can install XP on another partition, and then use grub or something to dual boot.

Use disk utility to make another partition, formatted fat32, and install XP to that.

what is your hardware?

Actually, the best way is to get another hard drive, install XP on that, and use your BIOS menu to choose which hard drive to boot off.

hope that helps!

found the chain0 stuff....

but strange thing happens after i formatted my second hard disk (that is connected with USB connection BTW) and booted into the install.... i try to install winXP on the partition i created and the {censored} asks to write some files the first hard disk (where Leo is installed) and the thing is it cant write on it because its not fat32.... and it wont install if i wont format to fat32... which i didn't.... so what up with that??

Tnx ahead!!!!

Its trying to write the ntldr and ntdetech files to the first disk. I would install it on the system and disable or hide the OSX disk while you do it, even take it out if needed. If you use the bios to determine the boot disk it wont matter to the XP install anyway that there is a OSX install there.

Hope that helps.
