What Installation DVD would you recommend? I have a monitor and the tv-out connected to the video card. Also, I use PS2 Mouse and Keyboard. Thanks! lag0matic
I would *try* the zepyroth image.. but good luck. Sata HDD's dont seem to work well on AMD chipsets. THAT was fast Well, I'll try with zepyroth then. BTW, Sata works fine for me in Tiger, can't I use the same driver? lag0matic
No idea! Never tried to run tiger on the system I had now.. thunder.scripts
Well, I forgot that I have already tried that one and I had problems with the video card (among others, I think). Any other recommendation? I was waiting for iAtkos, but I got a bit anxious. I dont have any other ideas for ya Well, I did that for a Tiger installation, but now I'm looking for something fast and simple. I suppose I'll just keep waiting for someone to make a nice finished AMD release Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87308-amd-recommendation/#findComment-622670 Share on other sites

thunder.scripts
So few people using AMD these days or why the lack of AMD releases? Honestly don't know. Probably true, since I suppose most people building Hackintoshes now know they'd better stick to Intel. I'm still using my old PC from about a year before Apple's switch to Intel. Hope he will release his rev.2 soon 'cause i had problems with the first one. DoiX
because there is no kernel that can run 64 bit, someone must make a kernel that is x64 compatible Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87308-amd-recommendation/#findComment-627293 Share on other sites
