jojo77m
i am getting fed up with windows & going to switch to either *nix variation or osx86.... however i still come across a number of badly written websites that only work on internet explorer and not my default firefox. so, how does this affect osx86 machines, does safari work on Ie only sites? or do i need to run crossover with ie inside? can i run crossover with ie inside? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86498-explorer-only-websites/ Share on other sites
hecker
Camino and Safari are both very good browsers. Try them and find out for yourself. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86498-explorer-only-websites/#findComment-614115 Share on other sites
rollcage
If it's an "IE only" site (can't remember the last one of those I've been to), Safari isn't going to load it. If you really need IE, Crossover can run IE. You should be good with FF or Camino though... Viscaria
Often spoofing your user agent fixes these sites. You could also try to find the old mac version of IE.
