asstastic
I'm in the middle of testing the latest 3945. loads fine and stuff so far. rebooted without panic or anything. though it doesn't seem like it is turning on and NetworkSelector won't load automatically. Scan doesn't seem to do anything either. perhaps it's cause the card is set up as en4. I'm sure i read somewhere that it need to be set up as another device #. if you have an answer post under Devoid's instruction thread so we don't clutter this one. jalavoui
asstastic, try to delete all iwi interfaces from sys prefs reboot reinstall - after this os x is expected to pop up a message with a new interface pressing apply might give a kp reboot maybe the driver creates other interfaces in sys prefs - can you check? iwi3945/4965 if you don't get a kp post system.log if the logs have timeouts try some reboots and leave networkselector alone Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84072-intel-wireless-2100-2200bg-2915bg-3945abg-4965agn/page/99/#findComment-758563 Share on other sites

asstastic
Ok so I reboot and iwi starts spewing out text all over the screen. I hit the HW switch and it crashes a bit later without the usual KP screen, just freezes in the middle of printing text to the screen. I reboot and get a KP this time. Reboot again and this time it looks like everything loads fine only my graphics card driver is giving me problems so I can't see the desktop. I try rebooting a few more times and still have graphics problems. I reboot again and this time turn on the HW switch, iwi text starts scrolling again like crazy, looks like it's running in an infinite loop. I go away for a bit and come back and desktop has loaded. I check the console and iwi is still scanning or at least attempting to scan. I hit the HW switch off and scanning stops cept for the occasional temp message and sta_info_cleanup. Here's the log, can't do much to cut it down to size cause of all the output on the scan loop. scanning_.3945.system.log.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84072-intel-wireless-2100-2200bg-2915bg-3945abg-4965agn/page/99/#findComment-758910 Share on other sites

SpiderRMF
Alright. So I've got booting in most cases. Sometimes it freezes on a blue screen but no KP. I only get KP when I try to do network scan (option 2) in the network selector, and then again not always, but most of the time. Here are two logs from two different boots. Also, here is a KP image. For all those just getting "you need to restart your computer" messages, boot with the option "debug=0x100" and you will get KP printer on the screen. (Apple hardware has NVRAM which is used to store panic.log, but most x86 machines do not, so you will probably not have a panic.log file) привет москвичам!
