Thade
Hi all. So far I've had great success with an eMachine T3828 with Intel 845GV chipset and Celeron D 335...everything worked right out of the box. http://www.emachines.com/support/product_s...ies&model=T3828 Moving forward, I ordered an Asrock P4Dual-915GL for better video support and future video support via AGP or PCIe. I understand the Asrock should give me QE and CI ?? but I found little info on available resolutions. Anyone with this MB able to run @ 1680x1050? It would be a nice bonus to fil my 2005FPW currently @ 1280x1024 1:1 (stretched is horrible) TIA Jeff Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8298-asrock-p4dual-915gl-avail-resolutions-1680x1050/ Share on other sites
Thade
OK, got the MB installed. At the very least, I was hoping to get my native resolution of 1680x1050 and I had my fingers crossed for QE and CI.... I got it all right out of the box! I'm sure I'll eventually do a clean install but it wasn't necessary. I don't have sound yet but there are several how tos floating around. I cranked up the Celeron 335 to 3.0 GHZ just to round it off. So here's the current setup: OS X x86 10.4.3 Asrock P4Dual-915GL Celeron D 335 2.8 @ 3 GHZ Intel GMA 900 1680x1050x32 CI, QE Dell 2005FPW 1 GB RAM: 512 Geil, 512 Kingston Value 80 GB Hitachi IDE HD LITE-ON COMBO SOHC-4832K (Apple supported) Zonnet BT adaptor, Apple BT KB, Mouse Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8298-asrock-p4dual-915gl-avail-resolutions-1680x1050/#findComment-52424 Share on other sites
