The Digg Effect
Hi all. This is my first Hackintosh! I am running on an AMD (using Sepryoth's disk), with an NFORCE4 chipset (internal LAN disabled). So far, I am doing well, but my "Mac" won't boot with because it gets stuck on this line when booting: Jan 18 16:05:19 localhost configd[48]: Could not establish network configuration: Success! or other times Jan 19 01:01:43 localhost /usr/sbin/ocspd[63]: starting What do I do now? I took out all the network cards, and I still can't boot it! yoyomac
I also have this problem. I can't find anywhere that has a solution to this. I'm so close I can taste it! superjunaid
Hi, I'm running an Intel Mac so I can't really think what might be causing this issue, but are you able to boot-in via Safe Mode? hit F8 before the Apple Logo + Grey Screen then type -x to see if the system will boot into safe mode. yoyomac
Just tried it, hangs at same line. localhost configd[41]: Could not establish netowrk configuration: Success! Then doesn't proceed after that. Not really an "error" message. Onboard Lan is disabled. I do not have dedicated Lan card installed. yoyomac
Is it at all possible to bypass the networking stuff at startup? I mean, If I could boot into Leopard even half ass right now I'd be happy. I just want to see the freaking login screen on my pc hardware! dparada78
I had this error once on my p7n diamond mobo....mine booted, but I had to wait like 6-8 minutes before it would boot. I'd suggest waiting like ten minutes to see if it does boot or not using -v. Try using dsdtpatchergui, dont select hpet.....i think that fixed it for me....but not sure....dont remember....try different kernels...once i replaced the iokit.framework from 10.5.5 to 10.5.6 in single user mode....maybe that was it? I tried so many different things...cant really say what fixed it...sorry Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/82413-could-not-establish-network-configuration-success/#findComment-1082430 Share on other sites
flock44
Did u try Disabling Network Components & Boot from Network options in BIOS? Give it a try.... Hi all. This is my first Hackintosh! blase
I solved this on the P6t by enabling both network adapters in the BIOS. It still took about 10 minutes to boot, but it got me through to the account setup screen. BnW
I am experiencing the same problem with my HP dv4-1125nr. After booting from an iAKTOS v7 DVD it tells me that mac os cannot be installed because of a problem. In the log it gives me the "Could not establish netowrk configuration: Success!" message. I cannot disable the network adapters in the BIOS because the HP-BIOS only offers very few options. Is there any other solution to the problem?
