Konami®
Is possible to add sound in boot to an OS X 10.4.11 with PC_EFI 8? I would appreciate any help! Mebster
I don't know about boot but there is this thread which seemed interesting, although I haven't yet tried it out myself. Shutting down OSX with a sound Questions related to shut down sound please post in the thread above and not this. Only use this for boot sound if you still want to continue. That way things are more compressed and ordered. Hagar
Wrong forum - moved. The boot sound function would have to be done from BIOS and hence through the pc-speaker, unless something closer to a true EFI implementation can be made, in which case that would have to initialise sound hardware & send the boot sound on boot. Otherwise a sound played on login is about the limit, afaik Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/78638-it-is-possible-to-add-sound-in-boot/#findComment-563049 Share on other sites
