=-Devin-=
Ok, so If I go to the store and buy iLife and iWork 08, and maybe VMWare Fusion, for example, can I install it without problem and have it work correctly? BartNijland
All I know is that if you want to run iWork08 you need OSX 10.4.10 or higher, if you have that up and running it should work but you never know with a hackintosh Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/78296-can-i-buy-apple-software-and-use-it/#findComment-554169 Share on other sites
hecker
You should download the demo versions of the apps you want to run. That way you'll know for sure. I have never had any problems with my rig though. I'm running 10.4.10 on an AMD64 system. Cheers, hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/78296-can-i-buy-apple-software-and-use-it/#findComment-554197 Share on other sites

You can't be 100% sure unless you are planning to install VMware Fusion and iLife and iWork on a REAL MAC. If you are planning to install this software on a hackint0sh, try out a "demo" of the software before you actually buy it to make sure that the software works well on your system. Hackint0shes are known to have problems with virtualization software like VMware. =-Devin-=
Ah, well, I do try the demos out, like the iLife and iWork ones work fine, so I figured eh, just buy them. They rock. And I was just using VMWare as an example. I don't actually want it. I'll be dual booting. BartNijland
If you have a SSE3 processor, and everything up and running on your hackintosh, everything should work just fine . Running VMWare Fusion here with Windows Vista x86 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/78296-can-i-buy-apple-software-and-use-it/#findComment-554408 Share on other sites
