Hello everybody,

I got 10.5.0 ToH installed fine using This and everything works great with the exception of my pci slots not fully functioning. My WiFi PCI card works fine, but not my Echo Layla PCI sound card. In the system profiler it seems to think i have no PCI slots, yet i am getting action from my WiFi card. If anyone can help with my computer fully recognizing my PCI slots, it would be a life saver...

System Profiler not listing anything under PCI devices is a cosmetic problem and doesn't affect functionality.

There are methods to manually change the information to look right, but it isn't auto-filled and makes no difference.

I'm not familiar with that sound card, but not many PCI based ones work. (Check the HCL)

Best bet is get a USB based sound card or a simple USB sound adapter on ebay. (About $2.99)

This is very well documented, so you could find these answers for yourself, but here goes:

System Profiler does not show pci slots on pc.

99.9% of pci soundcards do not work with os x.

essentially, you have been uncommonly lucky that your wifi card works without tweaking.

It seems that RME PCI cards work just fine...

So bad... I have to sell my echo audio card
