But a change in resolution or wake from screen boots back as a garbled screen!?!? Not sure how to fix this, can anyone help me? royco Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 If your Video card has dual DVI ports, try using the other one. Had the same problem but with a 7900GS instead, using the DVI port nearest the motherboard worked. SA22C Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 I'd try the VGA port, just to be sure. My 7900 GTO will only work consistently on the DVI port that is closest to the motherboard. Geeze Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 Having this same problem. I switched to the vga out put and all is well, but that is not optimal because the picture quality suffers just a bit. This has to be fixable because a reinstall fixes the problem.
