CaiusJulius
Hey guys I've been using 10.4.10 for a week now on my perfectly ordinary PC. It's unbelievable how much better is it than Windows in so many respects, and with dual-booting for times when I do need m$, it's just perfect. Though the future lies with 10.5... but I don't know if all of my hardware would be compatible with it. Is there a way to back up my current 15 gig os x partition before formatting it, so that then, if 10.5 doesn't work right, I can 'ghost' it back? Thanks a bunch

hecker
Or maybe because this question has been asked dozens of times. Use SuperDuper or CarbonCopy for backup purposes.

an4rew
best to get the flat image, install it on an external drive. then your windows is untouched, you can install macdrive if you need to fix anything.
