hi ive tried to install leopard from a patched mac os x 10.5 dvd i used brazilmac patch to patch mac os x and burned it in tiger.when it comes to booting patched dvd i get a lot of extension text then system reboots can anyone help???

 

system:asus m2n4 sli

amd 64x2 6000

seagate 500gb 7200rpm

4gig patriot memory

ati radeon hd 2900xt 51mb

I have the same problem with my Gigabyte board - you need a Darwin bootloader. In my thread I got the answer to use the ToH Leopard DVD and run a script in /usr/misc.

 

I *think* this is unrelated.

I believe you are trying to install this Intel build onto an AMD machine - it's not possible with the BrazilMac AFAIK.
