popcop Posted November 27, 2007 Share Posted November 27, 2007 i rebot my computer to active for the first time my new leopard now when he ask me to press F8 to more setting i dont do anything and he starting to load leopard now he gives me a kernel panic i used brazilmac dvd thankss!!! Risr Posted November 27, 2007 Share Posted November 27, 2007 Okay, first of all. Please post your system specs. I'm not sure, but going out on a limb here, the one's posted in your signature? Also when you booting, try booting in -x = safe mode, -v = verbose mode, showing what is beig loaded to give us a better idea of what is and isn't loading., and for the heck of it, try -f. Objection Posted November 27, 2007 Share Posted November 27, 2007 Take the DVD out of your drive and boot off of your leopard partition directly. If you hit f8 quickly while the bootloader is running, when it says "Loading DarwinX86..." you'll be given the option to enter boot options just like you are with the DVD.
