Dear All,

I am trying to install OS X on my dell latitude d600

I have the 8f111 image and i have patched it

when I boot up the os x dvd

everything works until i get to this blue screen with a mouse cursor

it seems like everything hangs here

the hard drive does not run

the dvd drive does not run

is it that my system has hung ???

the mouse cursor works if i move the mouse

how long do i have to wait at this blue screen section ???

anyone ???

I have same system, really is so slow during the installation, but after finished works fine, just wait like 10 Minutes, them you will see the install script, Also I installed my D600 Harddrive into my Desktop PC, them run the installation faster, after this you inserted back on the laptop and works fine.

One of the problems I noticed after the installation on 10.4.3 8f1111 is the Wireles stop working, I'm using Dell 1350 that worked fine before on my 10.4.1.

Finally rememeber for the hard dirve you will need an adapter to run it on your desktop PC, is just few bucks.

If you have luck with Wireless, please let me know

Tnank you

goddammit im facing the same problem, only i have the 10.4.4 w/ 10.4.5 patched dvd. Dell wireless 1350 card doesnt work!!!! please PLEASE someone tell me if they've fixed it. Antonio, I also have a problem and i might be forced to just stick w/ 10.4.1 since i use wireless so much.

edit1: Wireless working perfectly: see my guide for patched file and instructions. http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=13430&hl=

I'm using a Latitude X1 (afaik same Hardware like Samsung Q20)

I had the same Problem with the frozen Boot-Screen. I waited about 20 minutes with no change. Connecting an external monitor to my Notebook helped to continue the Setuproutine.

Now, Setup is running properly and I'm waiting for the next surprise ;)
