Objection
I have a 250g IDE drive that was pre-formatted to 250 in my old real mac. I dropped it in my hack and tried to install on it, no good. Had to reformat it and my hack could only format to 128gb. Sad. PrincessNybor
That is very odd. I am using a 250 gig IDE drive in my Hackintosh with no issues. I formatted using the built-in disc utility during installation, and it saw the whole drive right away. What format are you using? What kind of hardware (motherboard, IDE controller, etc) do you have in your machine? flibblesan
Nforce chipsets can only access IDE drives up to 128Gb. It's caused by the drivers.
