ljsoares
Just a quick update on 10.4.4 extension on these two Asus MB. P5LD2-VM(945G Chipset) - I replaced all the extension with the 10.4.4 ones, fallowed all the step and nessecary and restarted. The system came up just fine. what i notice after reboot - the hard drive SMART is now active and working - onboard nic does not work (replace IONetworkingFamily.kext with the one from 10.4.3), and it worked fine - onboard audio also did not work, and since 10.4.3 8f1111 AppleHDA.kext did not work also I used the one from 10.4.3 8f099 and that worked fine. P5GD1-VM(915G Chipset) - Replaced all extension with 10.4.4 ones, and rebooted. Reboot with option -v and this the result. - i get this error "Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleEFIRuntime." "Cound't alloc class 'AppleEFIRuntime'" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7112-1044-extension-on-asus-p5ld2-vm-and-p5gd1-vm/ Share on other sites
