000michi000
Hi I finally got OSX 10.5 RC2 to run on my PC... But i don't know how I get ethernet and the Jmicron Controller to run. I downloaded a Patch for 10.4.8 but it still doesnt work (ok sound now works). Does anybody have a solution??? And I also got a prob with my cpu. I got an e 6600 core2duo but OSX only recognizes one core... (Core 2 solo) My motherboard is an asus P5B-E... Thx for ideas
flere
I have an Q6600 and ASUS P5B SE. I solved the core solo problem by setting "Enable Max CPU ID" to false in bios. I guess that your built-in ethernet is Attansic like mine - no way t get it to work (although there is an attempt to cerate the driver...). I bought a cheap Realtek. Card. As for JMicron controller - I don't know if it works, I'm not using it (but it is enabled in bios).
Bogdan_Solga
I think this will help. If it still doesn't help you, try this. Good luck!

jsz0
I have the same board and my Ethernet worked on the first boot so I dunno what's up there. (RealTek chip) For the JMicron you need to modify Info.plist in /System/Library/Extensions/JMicronATA.kext/Contents Change the existing 0xxxxxx value to: <string>0x2363197b</string>
