Nitramusa
Hi, For the ppl who made the EFI emulation working, can u please tell me if bootcamp, or apple's bootloader or something like that works? Does The apple bootsound works? What are your experiences with the new method of booting? And finally, can you please take a shot, or some shots of it to show me how to is (even better, making a movie of it and uploading it at YouTube ) Im really interested, because alot of rumors are going on.. Thank you! -Nitra

Is it graphical? Can you post me a screenshot or something of the boot loader? And what about Boot Camp? Thanks . . 'graphical' . . cripes no - the thing is 60k: see here for some info. Boot Camp is an Apple emu layer, of BIOS to EFI . . it is all a bit twisted to expect an EFI-to-BIOS emu to somehow look back into a mirror . . . Apart from anything else, Apple's Boot Camp fun 'n games depend on a GUID-partitioned HDD [as well as EFI h/w & f/w]; whereas hacks need to present an MBR HDD to the BIOS. Ooh ok I espected something else...Thx anyway shoarthing, so from what you explain it seems hard to get Bootcamp working on Hackintoshes..Your opinion is that it will never come to work? And what if teams like Uphuck code a whole new bootloader special for Hackintoshes with a normal BIOS and just fake the whole bootcamp interface? Something like Acronis boot selector, but just customized that it seems to be Apple's bootcamp! That would be great Cheers

Booshi
Why would a PC owner want bootcamp? Your computer already has a BIOS! what? Bootcamp is not the equivalent of BIOS, aren't they completely different!?!? lol
FavleX
what? Bootcamp is not the equivalent of BIOS, aren't they completely different!?!? lol Bootcamp sis an "emulator" for apple hardware EFI -- to --> BIOS for getting windows systems EFI is an "emulator for normal x86 hardware" BIOS -- to --> EFI for getting apple systems EFI is necessary for apple systems. BIOS is necessary for "others" (Linux,FreeBSD,win32). So using bootcamp on grey pcs does make nosense.
