apowerr
Gmail is great, but for web-based mail I have always used Hotmail. Hotmail works good enough for me and nothing Gmail offers is enticing enough for me to switch. To be honest though, I prefer getting mail through an application like Outlook or Mail. ~pcwiz
Same...the only reason I went for GMail in the first place (before all the fancy options) is because it had free POP3 access. I like getting my mail in one click.
Neilis
Gmail here. I've used all, and they were all slow feeling except for Gmail (especially to someone who felt that most regular desktop clients were too slow - I used one called i.Scribe for a long time because it was blazing fast). Gmail also has great spam filters and the tagging/archive system is great. Plus it has more than enough space for me to keep lots and lots of messages. ~pcwiz
One thing I notice about GMail though is that POP3 and IMAP access constantly goes offline.
