just get a real email account. I mean, seriously.

Yeah, sorry, how stupid of me... using an evil Microsoft email account... may aswell hand my mac back.

Maybe, just maybe, I have a .mac account, and a work account aswell... and maybe, I wanted to be able to access all of them in one convenient location.

Thanks for your help...

Get an gmail account which now supports IMAP and syncs into Apple Mail.

You can always have your Hotmail email account forward mail to your Gmail account and then still use your hotmail address as your reply address if you don't want to change.

Thanks for that. I was trying to avoid yet another account, but if there's no other option I may have to do this.

I though Hotmail only forwarded mail if you were a paying subscriber. Was I wrong? Because If so then I would more happily get a Gmail account and have all my Hotmail emails be forwarded.

You do need a paid account... I don't have one... so once again I am stuck.

anyone else?

MacFreePops from HERE apparently works, but I couldn't work it out myself. If you do get it working, do let me know!

Tried Macfreepops last night... without success. If someone uses this and it works for them, can they please explain how to set it up?

Or if by any chance there are similar programs, could someone please point me in their direction?

Thanks again.

sorry man, it was really stupid from my part, seriously. I really meant you should get a gmail or yahoo account, they're much better anyway, and are really integrated with Leopard Mail
