Blueberry G3 Won't start

I have a blueberry G3 that someone gave me. When I push the power button nothing happens. There is a small "crackle" sound like static electricity, but that's it. I assumed that this was a defective power supply, but is there a way to tell for sure? Could it be something else? This is a slot loading machine. I believe it is 400MHz but not sure until I get it running.

I've got almost the same issue with a G3 of mine.

There's a small crackle, but that it is probably the CRT starting up.

 

Tell me about the other sounds it's making.

It sounded like a static discharge from the CRT but i am pretty sure the sound came through the speakers. I replaced the down power supply, but that didn't do it. Could I swap out the main board or should I put this main board in another machine?

Huh, I don't know. My G3 iMac still works perfectly, sorry about yours. Maybe there's a fix in the link gerrybe posted.
