com3
is there a program that would hide certain folders on my osx ? i dont want to add a (.) infront of the folder to hide it in os x, i want something like Magic Folders in Windows, where you cant find the folder anywhere. unless you press a secret combination on the keyboard then type in a password. is there something of the sort out there? I searched the forum without finding anything. Thanx.

A Nonny Moose
If you make an encrypted disk image, then it will hide files without dotting them.

A Nonny Moose
Try this Automator script. It might require some tweaking in order to get it just right. Hideme.workflow.zip
com3
thanx for the script. i dont know how to run it though :\
A Nonny Moose
You'll need to save it as a plugin for the Finder. Then you just right click the folder and hit that Automator action. Hope it works.
