domino
http://distrowatch.com/search.php?architecture=powerpc No one can tell you what you need as only you know your requirements. Things that don't work natively on PPC Linux is Flash browser support because Adobe/Macromedia never compiled a PPC version. Some applications that work on x86 Linux aren't yet ported or will never be ported to PPC. Certain codecs aren't distributed on some distributions due to copyright issues. I've tried Ubuntu PPC and openSUSE PPC. No show stoppers as far as fhardware to run properly.
Porto
I had Ubuntu for a while installed on my PowerBook G4. Worked like a charm .
A Nonny Moose
I had it on a G3 and it ran nicely. Then I switched back to OS X, because it just wasn't as satisfying.
