NVIDIA GeForce 6200: Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 6200 Type: Display Bus: AGP VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0221 Revision ID: 0x00a1 Displays: T710SH: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz 2D Extreme: Supported Quartz Extreme: Supported Rotation: Supported Display: Status: No display connected and my xbench score slightly increased to 53, but still lesser than the 57 i had without agp do u think this can happen coz i messed with somethin during installation? coz, earlier with the same uphuck installation, my external Maxtor One Touch 300GB was detected!!! in the current installation, its not so, do u think anything might have happened while i installed? there is only one difference.. in the earlier installation i was havin windows on the sata hdd.. and osx on another pata hdd.. right now.. its different.. am havin osx on one partition, xp on another partition and another partition in fat32 mode for copyin files from my maxtor hdd to osx thru xp diabz, am attaching a txt file i saved from the terminal after typing "dmesg" can ya look though it and check whether you find something wrong? coz, i saw people askin to post the output of dmesg command and also some "ioreg" command in the agpgart website... dmesg.txt Edited October 11, 2007 by Swami the Jerk Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~pcwiz Posted October 12, 2007 Share Posted October 12, 2007 Everything looks OK. When you switch graphics drivers you may see a slight decrease or increase in Xbench score. I think you can't see your Maxtor 300GB because of your different HD config. Or maybe did you choose an HD option last install that you didn't choose this time? Swami the Jerk Posted October 12, 2007 Author Share Posted October 12, 2007 so, u saying tht if i need to get my xbench score back, i shud remove AGPGart again? but, thts kinda weird.. i mean.. agpgart was supposed to increase the perfomance, rather than decreasin it yes.. last time i had chosen SATA/PATA driver but, this time i dint.. coz, the disk utility(in the install dvd) was showin me all my drives... so, i thot why shud i chose the sata/pata driver... is tht decision wrong?
