of course it matters, on certain processors OS X wont boot because it doesn't support SSE2 or SSE3. Intels work better since apple uses Intel Processors. The best processor for a hackintosh would have to be the Core 2 Duo as it supports everything for the hackintosh and its fast.

That is because you are running JaS. Tubgirl will not give a lot of problems either.

The thing is that AMD chipsets are different from intel chipsets that Apple is using so the hardware of an AMD based system is by definition more different than an intel system.

That is true. I will go Intel sometime and I'll have a true hackintosh.

 

Still, AMD is a good system to have for OS X, nothing wrong with it
