I am not sure what happened but when I drop down the menu fromt he apple logo on the mene bar and choose About this Mac it no longer shows the window with all the information on it.

THe desktop does a refresh and at the same time the Menu bar and Dock Disapear while its refrshing.

Any way of fixing this?

Jas 10.4.8 Updated with Kookal's Combo 10.4.9 and #kernel on IRC "ToH-xnu-792.18.15-SSE2-1.zip" after installing the combo update replaced kernel with that one. Did a repair on drive as the Doc's say to do.

Here is the link I used to update Jas install to 10.4.9 but I di nto use the Irc Channle #1049 kernel combo cause I was getting a kernel panic so I used the other one I listed above.

Here is the link for the Tutorial.

My Machine:

Dell DImention 2400 series with Built in Intel Graphics card

945G chipset

2.4 ghz Celeron D 533 front side bus and 512kb of buffer. SSe2

USB 1.1, USB 2.0 Firewire card, graphics all work fine. No Audio. Thats also built in.

When I install Logic Studio it sais not enough Vram. Vram=0 and shoudl be at least 64mb.

THan makes no sense because its using shared memory and it is 64mb.

Anyone know how to fix this besides just getting a AGP or PCI graphics card with 64mb ram?

Thanks
