Urbz
I'm making a script that allows the user to select a playlist that you presumably sync to the iPod shuffle, and makes an audio file with the number of all the tracks in that playlist, the artist of that track, and the length, and automatically adds the newly created track to the playlist. That way, it is (rather) easy to know where things lie on your screen-less device. I'm mainly making it for myself, but if anyone expresses interest in it, I guess you could have it too... Anyways, the point of this wasn't so much for the songs, but for the podcasts and audiobooks. You can [manually] add them to a playlist as the first couple of tracks and easily have the iPod read which tracks are where so that you don't have to listen to the first minute to figure out which episode of 7th son you're listenning to! However, seeing as my shuffle hasn't arrived yet, I have a question that needs answering before I can complete my script: after you triple-press the back button and the iPod shuffle plays the first song (assuming the iPod is on repeat mode, not shuffle mode), can you press back again to go to the last song? -Urbz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/63363-for-all-the-shuffle-owners-out-there/ Share on other sites
onizuka
If you press three times the Play button again, it will just restart the first track. If you press Previous while playing the first track, it will play the last one. I don't really understand what your script is supposed to do, but it looks interesting to me to try to enhance that iPod!
