And it really annoys me, why do most programs for mac have to be either operating system bound or generation bound! It's so annoying. Windows don't do it, so why does apple? Also, I think they should try and reduce the prices of Mac's. It's too expensive in the UK... I think you should be able to run Mac operating system on a certain computer -> not made by apple. LOL, bit of a rant I know... about the prices, this has been explained before, but there are at least 2 taxes that go on imported items. one is the figuratively named import tax, which is around 17%, there is also another tax, dont remember what its called, but its right around 10% i think(dont quote me on those, i live in the usa). also, we CAN run osx on windows pcs, but its illegal. why apps are OS bound is because of changes in the kernel. this doesnt annoy me though, i like fast development, as opposed to slow development, so devs can catch up.
