If anyone has an ISP that provides a free usenet account (Verizon does, I know for sure) then you're much better getting it off of usenet. WAY faster than any torrent. ISPs don't cap Usenet so you will be downloading at the maximum capacity of your connection.

You obvously don't have Comcast ;) 2GB download cap per month, (although no speed cap).

Wow, that sucks. Comcast filters out torrent upload too, right? As much as I usually {censored} about Verizon reliability wise, I have to admit... it could be a lot worse. Unless I lived in like Switzerland. Then I'd have a 100mb/s connection for about $5/month with no limits. Sigh.

The part that really sucks is my G4 is only 533 mhz, wo when i boot it 10.5 loads, gets to desktop, then says i do not meet minimum requirements. U_U

If anyone knows how to change this please let me know. I meet all the specs except a few mhz short. I'll boot it again later and see if it will let me pull up system profiler or something and take a screenshot.

You need a patched OSinstall.mpkg file

Thanks flibblesan, but yes, posts about downloading leopard will hurt insanelymac, and maybe the uploader, but not you, so you're fine. that means stop caring about what happens to others, right?

the long & the short of it is:

Do not discuss the hows & where's of piracy here.

end of story.

as a p.s. there is a reason why things like this do not get posted on public trackers.

I really would rather not go into the details of the reasons, but try to enforce the rules, and people start crying "censorship".

Public admission of piracy is a very bad idea, and insanelymac certainly don't want to be in the position of having to deal with legal challenges from Apple again. What I will say publicly is have some sense. If you want to find it you will, but NOT HERE.

What you believe hurts or doesn't, doesn't actually mean a lot in real terms flibblesan, so please respect the wishes of this site and stop.

As people seem unable to get the message, this thread is closed.. discuss anything you like, but not where & how to get illegal software, nor how to crack it. this is for your own protection as much as anything else.

Thank you for understanding.
