I don't have photobooth, because I dont have time (and bandwidht) to download Leoard.

But I've also percepting this with an presentation program - like Apple Keynote program. When you are on the "presentation" mode, and enter in the "Force Quit Applications" program with the key combination, your presentation are paused and it are show on the presentation mode.

I've heard a time ago that it are on "Apple Human Interface Guidelines"...

Hmm, what is that "Resume" button ?

Will we able in Leopard to pause some processes to get more power for another processes ?

Would be cool !

actually u r limited to the power that ur comp has built in(2.4ghz c2d in my case :D) but what it does do is stop that process from using cpu cycles. so that means until u unfreeze the program, it wont be usable. it is strange that leopard has it built in, if u could have and end-user be able to manipulate this, they could pause an app such as photoshop if u need tp encode a bunch of music or encrypt a large file. ive seen apps that can do thos, but im sure apple would do it better anyway :P btw it doesnt free up ram, so dont be thinking u can get away with stuff if u dont have a lot of ram. this is meant for single core users but im sure dual core users could see an increase as well...yep
