Do you tried the audio wiki?

http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Audio

You need this file and you need to configure it (try ICH4 or ICH5)

http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?ac...ype=post&id=528

After that try this in a console:

# sudo -s

# chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions

# cd /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext/Contents/PlugIns/

# kextload AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext

then clean your extensions cache:

# rm /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache

# kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions

Reboot now. I don't know if your SIS sound is supported or working in OSX86 but you can try it.

P.S: no offence but god doesn't exist, it's a fiction for stupid people (history shows that). We Germans believe in science not in {censored}.

I am sorry but SIS AC97 is NOT supported currently: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...supported_Sound. Your best bet is to get a cheap US$60 mobo such as the AsRock Motherboard 915 Dual 478 (CI, QE graphics built in) which you can transfer all your existing components over (CPU, memory, HD). It is very unlikely Apple will support SIS chipset anytime soon.

Good God Mein Herr Dr. ! That's the holiday spirit :( Even the ex-Godless Russians such Putin believe in God now. What ever happened to the land of Martin Luther? I really hope you don't speak for all Germans. Whether you believe it or not, if you have Grace and Love in your life, you have God. Have a happy, peaceful and joyful holidays everybody :happymac:

Never mind, I don't want to discuss that in this forum. I was just trying to help Junior but I didn't know exactly if his AC97 chipset (realtek ALC650) was supported or not.

I also wish you all nice holidays (don't drink too much during Xmas :D )

Thank you for everybody, but i've a doubt, therefore I already think in buy a new motherboard with support the full hardwares, more i've a processor Pentium 4 3.0 Prescott HT and i'm has difficulties for find a motherboard that support this processor.

Someone has a suggestion of a mobo that have support the this processor?

No, unfortunately you are wrong. In Germany we have at least one prominent supporter of the ridiculous Intelligent Design theories, and this poor crackpot even holds a chair at the prestigious Munich Technical University, he is director of the Institute of Microbiology.

Another less expensive sollution would be to get a cheap USP soundcard or headset. Logitec USB headsets work out of the box, and they're only like $20.

I have the same SiS onboard sound (aside from my Sound Blaster) that doesn't work. I had to get a USB sound device to get audio.

And about the whole God-this God-that flamewar happening: Different strokes for different folks. Hell, there are some people who list their religion as "Jedi", and they're dead serious. Whatever you think is fine, so long as you don't force it on anyone else.
