Mezga0153 Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 I have intel 82865G graphics card (Intel 865), and it doesnt work well in OSX :/ it boots into something that looks like 800x600x2 (yes black and white) if I try to boot with -x computer just shuts down (??) I tried booting with "Graphics Mode"="1024x768x32" and it didn't work, deleted all the intel kexts and now it boots with -x (still b/w). dd_apple Posted August 22, 2005 Share Posted August 22, 2005 Hi, I have a 865gbf. I used the xplode method and dd the image before first boot to the first primary partition of my second drive. Used fdisk to change partition type to AF. I am dual booting XP and Tiger with the chain0 method. Quaz Extreme works, sound works, addon Intel nic also works. Just another data point. Someday it just stopped working, dont know what happened. Did a reinstall, clean boot without any sse2 patches, still didnt work. Use my 6600GT no (QE) Dont you had any problems of that kind? Maybe i have to try what you did to see of it works. The topic you point at, have a lot of different opnions. any chance that you tell me me what you exactly did? or maybe some patched files i can copy to my hd If it is to much work, i understand, no problem.
